Open to Aoba students and students from the local community
Aoba’s annual Summer School Program is held at the Hikarigaoka Campus from mid-June to August. The program provides a wonderful opportunity to experience inquiry based learning in English, learn new skills and make new friends!
Aoba’s 2025 Summer Program
We are thrilled to announce two exciting programs for Summer 2025.
1) Inquiry-Based / Hands-on Learning Program
This program focuses on inquiry-based and hands-on learning experiences. Students enjoy inquiry based learning for various topics, physical activity in the on-campus pool and air conditioned gymnasium, plus this year’s program has a stronger emphasis on music, allowing students to learn to play musical instruments. An optional after-school session program also features team sports, musical instrument special course, and English language skills session.
*Each Friday afternoon, parents are invited to the weekly music recital, or to visit other classes within the summer program.
2) Special A.I. Project-Building Program
This new and unique program is led by a team of alumni from Stanford, MIT, and Ivy League institutions.

*Class registration will close when we reach maximum capacity.
*Students may participate in our weekly programs for either one week or multiple weeks, allowing for flexible scheduling based on their interests and availability. This format encourages students to fully engage with the activities and concepts while accommodating varying summer plans.

*AI project-building program will be opened for grades 6 and above.

【Fees】
- Early Aoba students Registration : ￥80,000/5 days (Sign-up 2 March ~ 25 March)
- Regular Aoba students Registration : ￥90,000/5 days (Sign-up 26 March ~ 31 May )
- Stanford/MIT team AI project-building program : ￥300,000(10 days) *G6 and above
(For Non-Aoba students Registration : Regular Programs ￥120,000 /5 days)
- Lunch: ¥ 7,500 (5 days)
- School Bus (Round Trip only): ¥ 20,000 (5 days) *Please pick up your child at the bus stop mentioned in the registration form
- Hikarigaoka station Shuttle Bus : ￥2,500 (5 days)
- Registration Fee: ￥11,000 (Non-Aoba students, first time only)
- After School Fee: ￥25,000 (5 days)
