Meet Nga Lai, our new K4 Homeroom Teacher! 28 August 2017

Ms. Lai is Chinese-Vietnamese American. A bit confusing so take your time to read it twice!

She moved to the States when she was four years old. Ms. Lai considers herself as energetic and goofy as her students. Most importantly, she absolutely loves her job! “Growing up in the friendly state of Minnesota I had built a reputation among the neighborhood parents. My love for children made me a popular babysitter.

Later in life, Ms. Lai took her passion for teaching children and obtained a B.A and Masters in Education. “My focus has been on Pre-primary and ELL/ESL.”

Aside from teaching she really loves to travel and decided in 2009 to teach abroad. Since then she has taught in the States, Taiwan, Vietnam, and now Japan. Let’s give a warm welcome to Ms. Lai!
