SUMMER SCHOOL

Aoba continuously enhances and refines its Summer School programs each year, and we confidently recommend them as an excellent opportunity for students—from Kindergarten through High School—to make the most of their long summer break.

Students can enjoy sports comfortably in our fully air-conditioned gymnasium. In addition to our regular programs, we also offer special curricula each year. Our Summer School is a popular program that attracts many students from around the world.

2026 Summer Program Information
This year again, Aoba will offer a wide variety of summer programs across our campuses.
Each campus features unique and distinctive programs.

Application Start Dates:
Current Aoba Students – From March 1
External Students – From March 26
*Meguro Campus will only accept applications from external students if places remain available after Aoba students have completed their enrolment.

Application Deadline: May 31 (by 12:00 noon)

Please complete and submit the application form by the deadline.
Registration for each class will close once capacity is reached.

■ Meguro Campus
*Non-Aoba students can join when the seats are available after March 31, 2026

Eligibility: Kindergarten K2–K5 (equivalent to ages 4–6)

・Fun Summer Program (including excursions) / 8:45–15:00
・After-School Care Program / 15:00–17:00

■ Hikarigaoka Campus

Location: 7-5-1 Hikarigaoka, Nerima-ku, Tokyo
Eligibility: K4–G11

Sessions:
Session 1: June 15 – June 19 (5 days)
Session 2: June 22 – June 26 (5 days)
Session 3: June 29 – July 3 (5 days)

★ Special Program: Learn Magic Techniques
During the week of July 13–17, a special magic program led by a professional magician will be offered. Learning magic helps enhance concentration, builds confidence through successful performance experiences, and strengthens communication skills as students share their techniques with friends.

■ Bunkyo Campus

Eligibility: G5–G12

Our Summer Program emphasizes student-centered, inquiry-based, and experiential learning in a relaxed yet motivating environment. Each week offers a diverse range of activities, including English and Japanese language learning, music, art, science, interdisciplinary inquiry, and sports. Swimming activities are also included, ensuring a well-balanced and engaging summer experience that blends learning with fun.

Regular programs (Inquiry & Activity based learning)

This program provides a student-centered, inquiry-based, hands-on program where students learn in a relaxed and engaging environment.
Inquiry-based learning includes English, Japanese, music, and sports, including pool time. Hands-on activity-based learning is for Grade 3 and up, and is mainly physical movement with inquiry-based, hands-on activities and experiences. Due to the nature of the activity, G2 and under will have inquiry-based learning for all sessions but different content.
